Who is ‘The Specialist GP?’

Louise is an Auckland-based Specialist GP, medical educator, and podcaster. She graduated from the University of Auckland and has collaborated extensively with the University, the Goodfellow Unit, and Health New Zealand. Louise has been the voice of the Goodfellow podcast for the past eight years, publishing over 200 episodes alongside many webinars and both face-to-face and online events.
An inspirational clinical leader and trusted voice in clinical governance, Louise led the National Contact Tracing Service during the pandemic.
Her passion is creating practical, evidence-based learning for clinicians. Louise is dedicated to inspiring better practice through better education, mentoring students and health professionals to deliver high-quality, equitable care.
